SHAKIRA LORS DE SA VISITE EN COLOMBIE
Shakira and Juanes arrived in Colombia in the same flight.
“Thanks for the welcome,” this was the first sentence Shakira said when meeting the media.
The singer, who was wearing blue jeans ripped on the knees, a sport black jacket and dark sunglasses, waved at the crowed with her right hand, as she approached the wave of journalists and fans who were waiting for her ; she started signing autographs and answering questions about the promotional tour of her most recent album: Fijación Oral.
“I arrived with Juanes in the airplane, we were sitting side by side”, she said to the huge crowd which was organized at first but that soon lost control and advanced towards her.
Among screams of fans saying that they loved her, the artist – protected by her security personal - said that she came to Colombia to introduce her new album to her old friends and those who has been essential to her career.
Besides the press conference for the launching of this project, which will take place tomorrow at the hotel Radisson, Shakira is scheduled to work today at Pies Descalzos Foundation, in Bogota. After that, she will travel to another area of the country.
”I am going to Chocó to visit one of the schools that we build with the Foundation. It will be my first time visiting this area”, she said excited.
”I am very happy to finally be in Colombia”, she concluded as she got again inside the gray SUV that took her away, leaving behind a wave of journalists and fans that kept screaming for an autograph and taking her pictures.
